Randy founded AE Security in 1983 because of his keen interest
in electronics and safety. He has learned many lessons over
the years including; do what you say you're going to do,
honesty is the best policy and your customers provide your
best advertising!
Randy likes to travel, spend time with his family and friends
and is an avid slalom water skier.
Elisha is Randy's daughter. Elisha started with the family
business in 1999. Electronics Engineering and Business
Administration Diplomas make Elisha a perfect fit for the
security industry! She is passionate about security and how we
can proactively protect people and places.
Elisha is busy with her family, as this is all for them. She
focuses on health, fun, and enjoys waterskiing in the summer.
Chris started working with AE Security in 1997. He began as a
youthful technician and is now President of AE Security. His
experience and commitment to AE Security is irreplaceable.
His hobbies are electronics, music, baseball, barbequing, and
spending time with his family.
Angie joined AE Security in 2004 and learned the business from
the ground up. She is an excellent organizer, is constantly
looking for ways to make us more efficient and is our
indispensable office manager.
Angie spends her spare time on crafts, shopping, with her
family, and enjoying time with friends.
Ashley joined our team in February 2023 and has become an invaluable asset. She brings dedication, hard work, and customer service among many other skills. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology of which she graduated in 2021. She loves to spend time with her dog, Lucky and from spring to fall you'll find them in Fish Creek park. She is happiest outdoors, going for walks, swimming, or rafting. She has a passion for attending concerts, festivals, and any live music event. And she loves the Stampede!
Brian joined AE Security in 2012 to spend more time with his
family since he was working out of town with his previous
security company. He excelled as a technician with AE Security
for almost seven years. He utilizes his extensive technical
knowledge to design security systems for our clients.
Brian enjoys spending time with his family,
cooking and taking pictures.
Jordan Joined the AE Security team in 2019 after working in our industry for many years at our main wholesaler and with a competitor. His extremely broad product knowledge allows him to find the best security solutions to meet our clients needs!
Mackenzie is Randy's son. He brought his skills as an experienced Red Seal Electrician to AE Security full time in 2019. His expertise allows us to expand into areas that previously required hiring sub-contractors!
Jordan "Fitz" joined the AE team at the beginning of 2020. His technical skills combined with his positive attitude and communication abilities make him an excellent addition to AE Security.
James P. joined AE Security March 2022. His industry experience, specializing in wireless products, and great work ethic bring us another amazing team member to our tech team. In his spare time his hobbies include finance, collecting vintage cards, growing bonsai and renovating the house!
Corbin joined AE Security in August 2023, bringing with him valuable experience as a surveillance operator and hospital security guard. His keen eye for detail and strong dedication to safety have made him an invaluable addition to our tech team. When he's not at work, Corbin enjoys spending time with his two miniature schnauzers, exploring the outdoors, and gathering with family and friends.
Tom joined AE Security in 2025. He has tenacity and loves the challenge of solving problems at work, finding it incredibly rewarding. When he's off the clock, he spends a lot of time on YouTube. He feels like it's an ocean of knowledge where he's constantly learning things he never knew.
Joel joined the AE Security team in the fall of 2025. His five years of industry experience and calm demeanor are real assets to our installation team. His hobbies include playing soccer, ping pong, travel, and family.
Thanos joined our service team in 2025 after working in the industry for over 10 years. His expertise, detective skills and friendly demeanor solving problems for our customers make him a valuable member of our team. In his spare time Thanos enjoys pickleball, collecting memorabilia, travelling, and roughhousing with his pup, Minnie.
With years of hands-on experience in the security industry,
she's built a career focused on helping people feel safer and
more connected in their homes. This experience has given her a
deep understanding of modern security systems, smart home
integration, and customer-focused solutions. She takes pride
in designing systems that aren't one-size-fits-all, but
tailored to fit each client's unique needs, lifestyle, and
priorities.
Outside of work, she values spending quality time with her
family. It's what keeps her grounded and motivated. That same
mindset carries into her work, where she aims to create
security solutions that bring peace of mind and truly work for
the people who rely on them every day.
Debora joined the team at AE Security in January of 2015 to take over our bookkeeping after Brenda Nault retired after 25 years at AE. Her in depth bookkeeping skills are a great asset! Debora enjoys, writing, reading, dog training, camping and baking in her spare time!
