AE Security is a local, family owned and operated business established in 1983. AE Security is a Honeywell Authorized Security Dealer and has been serving Calgary, Airdrie, Okotoks, Cochrane, Chestermere & Foothills since 1983. Our motto is:
The Right People. The Right Access. Keys get lost, copied, and never returned, and every lost key can mean an expensive rekey. AE Security's Commercial Access Control replaces them with modern, cloud-based door control, so you decide exactly who can enter your Calgary building, and when, without a server on site.
Add a new hire, schedule cleaners for evenings only, or give a contractor temporary access, then remove it the moment the job is done. Use a smartphone, keycard, or fob, set schedules by role, department, or time of day, and unlock doors remotely from anywhere. Real-time alerts and audit trails show who came and went, which is valuable for safety, accountability, and compliance.
Our web-hosted platform is built for business owners and managers, not IT departments, and scales from a single office to multiple Calgary and Alberta locations managed from one dashboard. It also integrates with video surveillance and alarm systems, so an access event can be linked straight to the footage. Control the flow of your business and see how easy it is to know who is in your building.
We specialize in existing security system takeovers and repairing existing alarm systems. We don't condemn legacy alarm systems just because they're "old"...but we do make recommendations of certain security features. We've been working on security systems in Calgary since 1983 so we've just about worked on them all.
We have an educational video series, "Tech Talk with AE Security". Need a video walk-through on the latest tech? Odds are we've got one!
From helpful FAQs to comprehensive battery replacement guides and alarm bylaw information, our support library is a must for every security customer.
Our customer service team answers the phones and supports with remote assistance. We can provide instructions, perform code changes, diagnostics, and programming remotely.
"AE Security has handled our commercial building's video alarm verification and monitoring for years. Their local support team in Calgary is exceptionally fast, professional, and always answers the phone. True peace of mind!"
